Exploring Tampa's Historical Museum!
First, I watched a 15-minute introductory video at the entrance to learn that the building was originally a luxury hotel, which helped me better understand the exhibits. 🔅 The museum occupies only one wing of the building, while the rest of the space serves as office areas for the University of Tampa. However, visitors are free to walk through the corridors, as long as they keep quiet.💖 🌳The exhibits are concentrated in four themed halls. The section on railroad development history is clearly presented, with actual vintage train tickets on display. My favorite part was the restored hotel guest room on the second floor—the patterned wallpaper and carved wardrobe remain intact, and the rocking chair by the window was truly comfortable. 🌴 🌴I recommend setting aside about an hour for the visit, as weekends in the afternoon tend to be less crowded. 📍Henry B.
