Exploring Umiya AYCE in Dallas

📍Umiya Sushi Seafood and Grill All-you-can-eat restaurant. 💯I think the food is pretty fresh, although I can't really tell the specifics. This is my second time here, and I didn't get sick the first time, so I'd say it's pretty good! The sashimi portions are really generous—each piece is huge. 💯But the shrimp sashimi is actually cooked shrimp, not raw. I was a bit disappointed seeing 10 boiled jumbo shrimp. Also, a word of caution: All the specialty rolls are extremely unappealing. They're loaded with mayo, eel sauce, cream cheese, and deep-fried ingredients—it's just too much. Stick to the regular sashimi and rolls, and you'll be fine. Plus, I highly recommend the tuna tartare—it's delicious! We used to always drive to Sushi Masa Plano, but it’s just too far from the north side. It’s definitely more convenient to have a closer option, which is way better! 🥳 Umiya has a greater variety of rolls, with higher-quality ingredients inside, and their desserts are even tastier! #Dallas #DallasEats #DallasFood #Frisco #Plano #JapaneseFood
