🐕 Fairbanks, Alaska – Northern Lights, Dog Sleds & Foodie Finds! ❄️✨
Just back from the Last Frontier and still buzzing from the magic! Here’s my real-talk review of Fairbanks’ top experiences and eats. 🛷 Dog Sledding with Firewalkers Alaskan Malamute More memorable than the aurora! 🐾 Fluffy, happy dogs + super passionate staff They take photos, videos, and let you snuggle puppies! Already running sleds (not ATVs) — they even bring snow if needed!$95 | Cash only | Call to book — easy to reserve 🌌 Aurora Chasing – Mobile Tour vs. Glass Cabin Mobile tour won! We chased the lights and caught a massive aurora burst on the road! Cabin tours are cozy (hot cocoa! 🍫) but clouds can block the view Tip: Dress like you’re going to the Arctic — mobile tours are FREEZING! 🥶 🍽️ Food Review – Hits & Misses ❤️ Bahn Thai Best meal in Fairbanks! Must-order:Pineapple fried rice 🍍 Chicken satayTom Yum sou 🖤 Seoul Gate (Korean) Just okay — tofu soup tasted a bit off. 🖤 Chowder House Only for clam chowder fans — Asian stomachs beware! 🦀 Crab roll was fresh though. ❤️ The Crepery Looks meh, tastes AMAZING! Go for Nutella + berries — we ate here two nights in a row! 🎅 Santa Claus House A cute souvenir stop in North Pole, AK! 🛍️ Buy: Moose-poop fridge magnet 🦌💩 + Arctic blueberry coffee 📮 Send postcards (mailed at Christmas!) 🍦 Surprisingly good ice cream! 🛒 Souvenir Tips Costco: Alaska salmon oil + giant bags of local coffee Walmart: Smaller packs of coffee & classic AK merchFairbanks delivered adventure, awe, and a few tasty surprises.
