As excited as we were to try this restaurant, it was an expensive disappointment. From trying to figure out where to enter, to the glaring uncomfortable stares from the staff when we figured out where to walk in, to the cobwebs hanging over our table, it was not a good start. We needed 3 seats and a high chair, which we did make sure both the hostess and waitress knew, yet they sat us at a table on a raised floor and were told by the third waitress we couldn't have a high chair there. We finally sat down at the table someone pointed to. Although I appreciate their zeal to serve us, there was no time or break to actually decide what we wanted as FOUR different servers came to our table within a matter of minutes, three of them came twice, within 10 minutes. Not one server told us their name. We told them it was our first time there and asked a few questions but felt like we should have been ashamed to do so. I would have left but this is where my family had wanted to eat! The food was pretty good. Appitizers were well seasoned and a good variety However, some of the rolls were just tasteless, so be sure to order one that is well seasoned. The sesame chicken dinner was good - although the price we were charged was a few dollars more than the menu stated. So watch your ticket. They will definitely clear off the empty and seemingly empty plates, so be careful and there was no thank yous or courtesy upon paying the $125+ ticket. And then, on the way out of the door, my pregnant daughter tripped on the rug that is too wide for the doorway and is up off the ground! Thankfully she didn't fall. One last comment. Don't bring a toddler, they are not equipped nor welcoming of little ones. (We ate on the sushi side but won't go back to see how the other side is, don't want to take...
Read moreSecond time there and disappointed. Sat ourselves and asked for an extra menu which we then grabbed from another table because the server never gave us one. Got a glass of water and once mine was empty the server never came for a refill nor did she ask to take our order for any other beverage. The time we visited it wasn't busy at all. She couldn't even bother asking us for any order nor still come to our table, 30 or so minutes later I walked up to her booth and asked to order appetizers. Said my please and thank you's and waited. Still no drinks or water refills. 45 minutes later she walks to another table refills their glass of water walks past us. Another 10 minutes FINALLY I get a refill on water. As we are waiting for our appetizers I see the server plucking her eyebrows in the mirror above where the food gets served underneath. Very unsanitary and unhealthy. Hoping I didn't upset her enough to get any brows into my appetizers. Finally get appetizers. Last guest show up 15 minutes after them showing up she decides to ask for our order. After this ordeal I wanted to just go and pay she rings up my check on her calculator one total, then looks over at the table we sat at after I wrote a mediocre 5 dollar tip for her rude service and says oh you had drinks too and rang up another charge. WHAT THE HECK ??? I said oh the drinks you brought me well over an hour later ? It is one thing to be busy and just 1 server with many customers I can understand the wait and have patience for that, but the treatment and wait for food I was severely disappointed in with 3 tables of people there at the time. If there is another Korean restaurant with better quality service and food I'd advise going there. If you like it more power to you. It was a bad...
Read moreWe have been here many many times. Service and food in the past 7 years has been hit or miss. Today my husband was lucky enough to get what he ordered, Jajangmyeon. There have been days where they have told him cannot have this item because it takes to long to make. Todays serving was a bit small on the noodles too. We had to ask for the yellow radish that is typically served with this dish and the waitress seemed put off by it. We also asked for extra banchan and she told us she was gonna charge us for extra. Like seriously, this is the craziest thing I've ever heard in a Korean restaurant! Asked our waitress when they started charging and she said its always been the policy. Nope again 7 year patrons and this is the 1st time we have ever heard of this. I orderd the Samgyetang, again I didn't get any ginseng like pictured. I have gotten a few pieces in the past so I'm not sure what is going on here as that is literally a very important part of this dish. I will say the the tempura shrimp here is...
