Fairbanks Food Hits & Misses π½οΈ
β Miss List Noodle House Thai restaurant β dishes were overly sweet π―, and the fried rice had a mushy, porridge-like texture. Seoul Sushi Sushi buffet β shockingly poor service π€, sushi rice was excessive, and flavors were just average. β Hit List Chowder House πππππ Almost everything was great except the tiramisu β way too sweet! π° Tuna Corn Chowder & Smoked Salmon Chowder: Both delicious, especially with soda crackers dipped in! π₯£ Crab Roll: Two rolls with sweet, fresh crab meat β loved it so much we grabbed a takeout order before heading to the airport! π¦βοΈCrab Sandwich: Made with imitation crab, and the croissant was just okay β would recommend regular bread instead.Garlic Butter Shrimp: The sauce was perfect for dipping the complimentary bread! π€π Bahn Thai πππππ Possibly the best Thai food on this trip β not overly sweet, generous portions, and the "Thai Hot" spice level delivered! πΆοΈπ₯ Wok hei was strong in their stir-fries and fried rice. Highlights: Red Curry, Pad Gra Phrao (basil minced pork rice), and Pad Cashew. Note: The Crepery is next door, but closed on Mondays. π Lemongrass Thai Restaurant πππ Many people recommend this spot, but we found it just okay β overall leaning sweet, and even the spiciest level wasnβt hot. Pad Thai: Weird flavor π Green Curry: Sweet even at the spiciest levelCoconut Ice Cream: Pretty average π₯₯ #FairbanksTravel #AlaskaTravel #AlaskaFood #Fairbanks #Alaska #NorthernLights #Foodie #FairbanksFood #KingCrab #FairbanksGuide #AlaskaTrip #PumpHouse #Winter #AnchorageGuide #AlaskaGuide #Aurora #ChasingAurora #FairbanksPhotos #AlaskaPhotos
