Family Fun in Dallas: Willow Bend

Found another mall for family outings—Willow Bend Mall. Address: 6121 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093 On the first floor, there’s a decent-sized playground for kids where they can really run around. It’s especially nice on weekend evenings when it’s not too crowded. Maybe we went a bit late, but there weren’t many kids in the playground. 😂 The area around the playground has sofas where adults can sit and rest (though the sofas are a bit sticky... I always feel like my pants will stick to them 😂😂, so you might want to bring something to sit on). Inside the playground, there are small cars 🚗, small fountains, and climbing structures (they’re not hard, more like rubber, so no worries about bumps or bruises). Next to the playground is an area with coin-operated electric vehicles, including sports cars, trucks, ice cream trucks, and horse rides—there’s a variety of options. 🤣 Even without coins, kids can just sit in the vehicles and turn the steering wheel, which makes them really happy. The mall itself is quite large and also features the Crayola Experience Plano, a crayon-themed amusement park that’s definitely worth a visit with the kids.
