Feeding Sika Deer on Wakakusa Mountain and Enjoying the Serenity ๐ŸŒธ

๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ Feeding Sika Deer on Wakakusa Mountain and Enjoying the Serenity ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ It's truly wonderful to sit on the grass and feed the sika deer on Wakakusa Mountain, feeling so relaxed and at ease. ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸŒฟ ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ Walking from Kasuga Grand Shrine to Mizunotani Tea House, and then a little further up, you'll arrive at Wakakusa Mountain. I heard that there is a spectacular event here every January where they burn the grass, aiming to remove the withered grass for richer growth the following year, ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ which is beneficial for the deer. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒพ I visited around one or two in the afternoon, and the sunlight was very warm on my skin. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ Sitting on the grass and feeding the deer was truly a great experience; it felt as if all my worries had vanished, so relaxing and empty-minded. ๐Ÿ˜Œ Admission to Wakakusa Mountain is 150 yen, and there are three viewing platforms: Ichi-no-me, Ni-no-me, and San-no-me. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ We only made it to Ichi-no-me and didn't climb further. The view from Ichi-no-me was already enough to see the entire city of Nara. There were fewer deer at the top compared to the bottom, but they made for great photos, truly reminiscent of a Hayao Miyazaki scene. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐ŸŽจ ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ The wind was strong at Ichi-no-me, making it colder than at the bottom, so we changed our direction and descended the mountain. The way down was lined with maple leaves, which were beautiful. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ„ ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ #WakakusaMountain #SikaDeer #RelaxingExperience #JapanTravel ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ
