🚢 Ferryboats | A Surprise for Greys Anatomy Fans ✨
When planning my trip to Seattle, I initially didn’t expect much fun, so I set aside a whole day for a ferry ride. Who knew my friend and I are both die-hard fans of Grey’s Anatomy? It turned out to be an absolute gem! With limited time in Seattle, I chose the short route — Seattle-Bainbridge Island (about 30 minutes one way). Adults pay $11 for a round trip, while children ride for free! Rumor has it this is the exact ferry route Derek and Addison take in the show! Lucky for us, the weather was perfect that day☀️. We not only enjoyed a stunning view of Seattle’s iconic skyline🌆, but also had a clear sight of the Olympic Mountains⛰️ and the majestic Mount Rainier🏔️ on the other side! Ferry schedules are about 1 hour apart⏳, giving us plenty of time to relax. The island is ideal for a leisurely day out, with plenty of free museums and art galleries🎨, as well as many exquisite local craft gift shops🛍️ to explore. The day I took the ferry, Seattle’s football team had just made it to the Super Bowl🏈, so many stores were selling jerseys and caps— the vibe was amazing! The Seattle harbor is also close to popular spots like Pike Place Market🛒, the Ferris wheel🎡, the aquarium🐠, and the historic Pioneer Square. It’s super convenient to combine a ferry trip with other attractions! All in all, I highly recommend experiencing the Seattle ferry! It’s totally worth it! #SeattleMustVisit #WestCoastTravel #USA #PikePlaceMarket #GreysAnatomy #UniversityofWashington #SeattleFerry
