At CHANG'AN in Tustin, enjoying Peking duck comes with a show—watching it carved tableside is an experience in itself! 🎭 The ambiance feels upscale and genuinely Chinese, not your typical Americanized version. 🇨🇳 Elegant décor, spacious layout—it’s both classy and comfortable. 😌 Highlights: • Peking Duck – Served traditionally: crispy skin with sugar, then tender meat with pancakes. They even offer two styles: classic and smoked (served under a glass dome). I preferred the original—clean and flavorful. • Duck Frame – Choose your style; we picked salted pepper, and it was fried fresh and tasty. 👌 • Lychee Shrimp Balls – Crisp outside, soft and sweet inside—highly recommend! • Service – Attentive, polished, and thoughtful. Note: The pine mushroom soup looked elegant served in a pot, but was light on actual mushrooms and flavor. Still, overall a memorable meal with true northern Chinese touches.
