Finally got to try the highly sought-after AYCE BBQ in San Diego!
If someone says "The Fire Spot" is the most hard-to-get-into all-you-can-eat BBQ place in town, they really aren’t exaggerating. Every time I wanted to go before, there was always a long line—waiting over an hour was pretty normal 🙀. This time, I got smart: I went on a weekday right as they opened and finally got a table without waiting! I’m a huge fan of beef tongue~ This time, I enjoyed several plates of it—so tender and delicious! The steak has a limit per person, but the quality is pretty good. What I loved most is that they use real charcoal grilling🔥, so the meat has that wonderful smoky aroma. Totally worth it! If you plan to go, make sure to get there early! They don’t have many tables, so if you arrive even a little late, you’ll likely have to wait.
