Finally Tried Nobu! | NOLA Seafood Edition 🍣

I’ve passed by Nobu so many times while traveling, and this time I finally made it to the one in New Orleans! Located inside Caesars Palace on Canal Street, it’s super close to the French Quarter — super convenient 🗺️. Though you can ask the 👩‍🍳 to create a custom omakase-style menu based on your budget and taste, we decided to order à la carte and pick our own favorites. 🍽️ What We Loved: 🥇 Miso Black Cod A classic must-order! Crispy skin, buttery-soft inside — marinated for 3 days in miso and mirin. Sweet but not cloying 😋. 🥇 Seabass Yuzu Kosho Crispy skin, tender flesh, topped with black truffle and yuzu aioli — absolutely divine! 🥈 Spicy Creamy Crab Snow crab meat mixed with creamy cheese, sriracha, and fish roe — rich and satisfying 🦀. 🍣 Nigiri Fresh fish, excellent quality — you can’t go wrong. 🥩 Wagyu A5 Nigiri The beef quality is top-tier, but it’s topped with ginger — scrape it off if you’re not a fan! 😐 Just Okay (Skip Unless You’re Curious): 🎣 Tiradito Extremely sour — like, eye-wideningly tangy 😖. Good if you like Peruvian-style ceviche, but avoid if you’re sensitive to acidity. 🥟 Wagyu Dumplings My friend said they tasted like “In-N-Out burger stuffed in a dumpling wrapper” 🥟🍔. The sesame-heavy sauce didn’t help. 🍹 Passion Pineapple Lychee Mocktail Fine, but not memorable — safe but not special. 💵 Damage: Around $150–200 per person. 🔥 Overall: Hot dishes stood out more than cold ones. A solid splurge for a special night! #Nobu #NewOrleansFood #NOLAEats #JapaneseCuisine #FoodieTravel #SushiLovers #FineDining
