Finally Tried Nobu! | Seafood in NOLA 🍣🌿

I’ve passed by Nobu so many times while traveling—this time, I finally got to check it out in New Orleans! 🎉 The restaurant is inside Caesars Palace on Canal St, super close to the French Quarter—very convenient location. 🏙️📍 You can ask the chef to prepare a custom omakase-style menu based on your budget and taste, but we decided to order à la carte so we could pick exactly what we wanted. 🧾✨ 🍽️ Highly Recommend 🥇 Miso Black Cod A classic must-order! Crispy skin outside, buttery and tender inside. Marinated for three days in miso and mirin—sweet but not overwhelming. 😋🔥 🥇 Seabass Yuzu Kosho Crispy skin, delicate fish, with black truffle and yuzu aioli—elevates the dish beautifully! 🍋🍄 🥈 Spicy Creamy Crab Snow crab meat served creamy and spicy with cheese, sriracha, and fish roe—so satisfying! 🦀🌶️ 🍣 Nigiri Fresh fish, great quality—can’t go wrong. 🥩 Waygu A5 Nigiri The Wagyu is top-tier, but it’s topped with ginger—if you’re not a fan, you might want to skip or remove it. 😐 Okay to Skip (Personal Preference) 🎣 Tiradito Extremely sour! 😖 If you like Peruvian-style acidity, maybe give it a try—otherwise, be cautious. 🥟 Wagyu Dumplings My friend said it tasted like an In-N-Out burger wrapped in dumpling skin 😅, and the sesame-heavy sauce wasn’t our favorite. 🍹 Passion Pineapple Lychee Mocktail A decent drink—not bad, but not memorable. The bill came out to around 150–200 per person. Overall, the hot dishes stood out more than the cold ones. 💸👌 Have you been to Nobu—in New Orleans or elsewhere? What’s your favorite dish?
