Finally Tried the Boat Noodles I’ve Had Bookmarked in LA for Years! 🍜
🍴 Sapp Coffee Shop 📍 5183 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027 1️⃣ Boat Noodles A hearty bowl packed with variety—the broth includes all kinds of beef offal. The tripe and beef slices were tasty, but the broth was quite salty with a noticeable MSG kick. 🐄🍜 2️⃣ Jade Noodles Their famous spinach noodles served as a dry toss! Classic Thai savory-spicy flavor, loaded with toppings. The duck breast inside was delicious—though I’m not entirely sure what else was in there, but it tasted great! 🥬🦆 3️⃣ Blood Larb A curious choice from the menu—a warm beef offal salad. The sauce had a unique texture I’d never tried before—strongly seasoned, masking any gaminess. The beef liver was incredibly tender and mildly salty—perfect with rice! 🥗🔥 It didn’t quite live up to my expectations—worth trying once, but probably not a repeat for me. Still, the auntie running the shop was super sweet! Give it a shot if you’re curious! Have you been to Sapp Coffee Shop? What’s your favorite Thai spot in LA?
