Finland Helsinki Gastronomy | Glass Igloo 🏰🥞
This place is quite the "internet-famous" restaurant, and it's truly beautiful inside, with a glass house that sparkles under the sunlight. And guess what? The food is pretty good too! 🦌 Eino Leino Set Menu 74€ Appetizer: This is an open sandwich with little shrimp, salad dressing, and caviar - not bad at all! Main Course: Venison, this really deserves a compliment! The venison is incredibly tender! It's pan-fried just right and very fragrant, paired with a cranberry sauce that's sweet and sour. It's really quite good! For those who enjoy venison, I recommend giving it a try. But my mom thought it was a bit gamey, but I thought it was fine (they usually eat strong-flavored lamb, which I can't). Dessert: Crème brûlée, a sizable dessert with a nice flavor. 🥩 Grilled fillet of beef in a red wine sauce 47.9€ This is a bit less impressive than the venison; it's not as tender. It doesn't have a strong beef flavor, but the texture is acceptable. 🐟 Fried whitefish with a white wine and clam sauce 38.9€ And there's a layered potato tower! Not bad! Although the fish isn't that tender, it's well-fried and crispy. There are two pieces of fish inside. #Finland #Helsinki #HelsinkiFood #FinnishCuisine #Venison #Helsinki #EuropeanTravel #EuropeanLife #Europe #HelsinkiExplore
