First Experience at Shoyo, Dallas' Hardest-to-Book Restaurant!

Last Saturday was my partner's birthday, and he was incredibly lucky to secure a reservation for Shoyo on March 1st for his birthday. This was his first attempt, and he managed to get a spot (I'm really impressed)! We went for the 8:15 p.m. seating, and the last session was really lively. The omakase was so filling that we were stuffed but still being served more food 😂. The flavors were fantastic 👍, the ingredients were fresh, and the pairings were very thoughtful. Even I, who usually don't enjoy fish, found the dishes delicious! The chawanmushi (tea bowl steam) was amazing, especially with sea urchin—it was so good it brought tears to my eyes! The new chef's friend came to show support and treated the entire restaurant to drinks... the scene got pretty chaotic 😂. I'm looking forward to coming back next month 😍. Booking Tips: Every month on the 1st at 9 a.m., all the spots for that month are released on Resy. Make sure to register your account in advance, save your payment method, set an alarm⏰, and get ready 10 minutes early. Be quick and precise at 9 a.m., and you'll have a good chance of securing a reservation! I hope everyone has good luck 🍀. 📍 Shoyo Dallas 1916 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206 #Dallas #DallasGourmet #DallasLife #DallasExplore
