First Impressions of the Disneyland Hotel in California 🏰✨
We bought a 1-day 2-park ticket with Genie+ and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel the night before to get early 30-minute park entry. ⚠️ Booking Note: The hotel has four buildings around the pool, each with different views. Disney assigns rooms based on floor and view category. If you book through a third-party site, make sure to confirm which building and view you’ll get—standard room type requests (like double/queen) aren’t enough here, and you may be reassigned. 🛍️ Shopping: The hotel has a classic Disney souvenir shop with basic merchandise. If you’re into merch, it’s better to wait and shop inside the parks—they have more variety and exclusive items. 🏨 Vibe: The interior has a charming old-school Disney style—you can tell it’s been around awhile. The headboards light up with a firework effect! 🎆 They also left two special 70th-anniversary chocolates on the pillow as a turndown treat. 🍫 🍽️ Dining: There’s a large, nice restaurant in the atrium. You can also pre-order breakfast to be delivered to your room—just fill out the card and hang it on your door by 11 PM. 🚶♂️ Parking & Transport: It’s about a 15-minute walk through Downtown Disney to the park entrance. Hotel parking is $48 per day. There’s a free lot nearby (15 min walk), and the hotel shuttle can drop you off—good option if you’re traveling light. #Disney #DisneylandHotel #CaliforniaAdventure #DisneyTips #ParkStay #EarlyEntry #FamilyTravel #DisneyStyle #HotelReview #MagicKingdom #Disneyland #TravelGuide #SouvenirShopping #Disney70th
