First Meal with AX Resy Credit|Thai Food at Star Leaf in Pasadena 🍛✨

After upgrading my Amex card, the most exciting perk is the $100 Resy credit every quarter! Now I have the perfect excuse to enjoy a nice dinner each season 💳💚 Since DTLA is too far, we tried this Thai spot in Pasadena instead~ Two of us ate until super full—total came to $112 including tax and 18% tip 🥘💸 🍛 Thai Curry Lobster Tail – Almost everyone orders this! You can also choose crab or shrimp. A small portion was plenty for two. The lobster meat was a bit salty, but perfect with rice 🍚 A huge bowl of rice for just $1.50—way more generous than any Chinese restaurant I’ve been to! When I couldn’t decide on an appetizer, my teammate spotted the platter option—4 kinds of starters for just $22! So worth it~ The papaya salad was super refreshing 😋 Fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy 🍗 Mango fish was tender and flavorful 🥭🐟 We also got the Banana Leaf Chicken – no idea how they make grilled chicken this good! The skin was thin and crispy, and the meat was super moist—wings and legs were especially fragrant 🍗🔥 Afterthoughts: Definitely a place I’d revisit! Though they probably didn’t hold back on salt and MSG… My mouth was dry the whole way home 🥤😅 #CaptureTheMoment #ThisTemplateHitsDifferent #LAEats #ThaiFood #AmexResy #ResyRestaurants #PasadenaDining #ComfortFood #DateNight #FoodieReview
