Five Years in LA, Just Discovered This Gem 🇫🇷 French Restaurant!
Usually more of a Chinese food person, I can’t believe I missed this hidden French treasure in LA for five years! Highly recommend Camelia tucked away in the Arts District — a French spot with a touch of Japanese fusion. Not too fine-dining, more like casual-yet-refined — perfect for a weekday dinner with friends or a date night.😊👌 The dishes are served tapas-style — small plates perfect for sharing. Here are my favorites: 1️⃣ Beef Cheek — so tender it practically melts! Slow-braised until incredibly soft.💕😍 2️⃣ Croque Madame — a French classic: toasted bread with cheese, ham, and a perfect runny egg inside. Honestly better than what I had in Paris! Even though I’m lactose intolerant, it was too tempting to resist — and no stomach issues after! 3️⃣ Abalone Pot Pie — buttery crust on top, with a rich broth of shrimp, abalone, and mushrooms underneath. So flavorful and balanced — the richness of the crust and the lightness of the broth complement each other perfectly. My favorite dish! 🏠 Camelia 📍 1850 Industrial St, Los Angeles, CA 90021 #CapturingTheMoment #ThisTemplateHitsDifferent #LAFrenchFood #LAEats #FrenchCuisine
