Florida Tampa 🤩 5-Day Travel Guide!

A 5-day Thanksgiving trip to Tampa (well, actually 4 days 😆) ✨ Clearwater Beach One of the few white-sand beaches in the world! The sand feels amazing underfoot 👣💙 The temperature was around 24°C (75°F), but the ocean was pretty chilly 🥶 If you plan to swim, wear your swimsuit under your clothes — and bring a dry set to change into afterward. 📸 This is THE spot to take photos!! Every shot turns out gorgeous 😘 ✨ Tampa Bay History Center Much bigger and more engaging than expected! It’s not your typical “museum” — there are tons of interactive exhibits 🎬 Every floor has short films — super kid-friendly and educational 👧🧒 A perfect intro to Tampa’s history for tourists! ✨ The Florida Aquarium Home to over 20,000 marine species 🐠🐢 Surprisingly, there are also free-flying birds in the amphibian exhibit 🦜 A must-visit for photos and fun 📲👌 ✨ ZooTampa at Lowry Park We visited this the same day as the aquarium — it’s a lot of walking! 🥾 We found out they’re building a new Florida-only animal exhibit (opening 2022 🚧), so timing wasn’t perfect… But we got to see manatees up close!!! So cute and chonky!!! 🐄💦 ✨ Henry B. Plant Museum The building looks like something out of Harry Potter 🏰⚡ Fun fact: Mr. Plant’s last name is actually “Plant” — it’s not a botanical museum 😂 (Though a real plant museum would be “botanical,” right? 🌿) ✨ Restaurant Recommendation!! CW’s Gin Joint A very famous bar in downtown Tampa 🍸 We lucked out and got North Atlantic oysters 🦪 (not always available — other varieties are great too! Min. order of 3) Reservations are recommended for tables — we sat at the bar. Don’t forget your ID — must be 21+ to enter! 🪪 📸 Last but not least — sharing a few more pics of the white-sand beach.
