Flying Monk Noodle Bar

Flying Monk Noodle Bar—the legendary restaurant where Ang Lee once dined 🍜 A hidden gem for office workers! It’s also my go-to weekday lunch spot in "Sa Village" (Savannah). The food comes out (surprisingly fast) ⚡, and you can’t go wrong with any order. My Asian stomach is always perfectly satisfied here~ I’ve practically tried everything on the menu, so today I’ll recommend my top three👇 Pho combo It comes with sliced beef, beef chunks, and meatballs—super generous portions 🥩! A must-order if you want soup; it’s so flavorful it’ll make your taste buds sing. Every time I finish it, I feel warm all over, so comforting~ There aren’t many veggies in it, but you can ask for extra bean sprouts if you want—they never charge me for it, so kind~ This is my all-time favorite, I could eat it a hundred times! If you find it too bland, remember to ask the staff for the chili set 🌶️: the chili sauce isn’t spicy, the chili oil is slightly spicy, and the chili powder is the real deal—add as needed! P.S.: The duck leg noodles are also amazing, with authentic Chinese flavors—meat lovers, go for it! Na Na noodle Packed with wok hei (that smoky, seared flavor), it’s exactly like the soulful stir-fried noodles you’d get at a night market 🔥! You can choose beef or shrimp. The aroma is so enticing it could drift down the street, and you’ll never get tired of it. It’s my food buddy’s favorite—we order it every time we come~ Thai basil chicken This doesn’t seem to be a popular choice, but I was blown away when I tried it on a whim! It’s an absolute rice killer 🍚! The chicken is tender and bouncy, with a uniquely layered flavor. The sweetness of bell peppers and onions balances the spiciness of basil. I order it every time I crave stir-fried dishes—highly recommend!!! It might be a bit salty for those who prefer milder flavors, but it’s just right for me—perfect with rice~ #Savannah#Lunch#Cafeteria#Food#SAV#Savannah
