I'm rating this a 3 because of the food.
I was really excited to hear Savannah got a new Vietnamese Restaurant. And the reviews I have seen were quite favorable. So I walked in with high expectations for a great meal.
I ordered my go to dish: Bun Tom Thit Cha Gio - Glazed Shrimp, Grilled Pork, Spring Rolla, Cold Rice Vermicelli, Shredded Iceberg Lettuce, Bean Spouts, Carrots, Scallions and Roasted Peanuts. I do not recall my dish having fresh mint.
Let me first say this is one of the best Grilled Pork that I've had in this dish. But I did not like the pair of Glazed Shrimp. I'm used to Unglazed Grilled Shrimp. The Spring Rolls was not freshly cooked despite arriving closer to opening. It was a bit chewy and cold vs layers of crisp hot wrapper. I did get a generous amount of Vietnamese Fish Sauce.
There was a miscommunication on whether I was ordering dessert and the time it should arrive. After finding out they do not serve an Avocado Milkshake, I had mentioned i was considering ordering Che 3 Mau a Tropical Ice Dtink. But I noted I wanted to wait until I was done with lunch to make sure I had room for dessert.
Despite not ordering dessert, it arrived before I made a dent in the Bun. I didn't want the ice to melt so I switched gears to eat dessert. Despite a short period of time passing on the arrival of my dessert, the ice was a solid block. This dessert is served with a plastic spoon. I had not used my metal meal spoon but even that couldn't break the ice. I did enjoy the other ingredients in this beverage - Coconut Milk, a vibrant green Agar Agar, Sweet Kidney Veans, Syup, and what tasted like some sort of Tropical Fruit like possibly Jackfruit.
So I asked to take my barely touched Bun to go. My server brought me a small to go box. I noted this was too small a container and I needed a larger container. She said they didn't have any.
Because I dine out frequently, I carry Ziplocs and keep Airtight Rubbermaid Containers in my car. I told her I'd pay first then return with a Food Container. She volunteered to help me transfer the Bun soaked with Fish Sauce to my Container.
Employees multitaske while working. My server was prepping fresh vegetables. So it took a while to grab her attention.
The staff was friendly but the food was a bit...
Read moreMy family and I stopped by Pho25 yesterday for dinner, and we would absolutely recommend everyone to give this place a try! The restaurant was very clean and quite spacious for a pho spot. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. For appetizers, we noticed the special grilled mussels with golden sauce on their poster (not on the menu) and decided to try them — and wow, I’m so glad we did! The mussels were juicy and coated in a cheesy, savory sauce that was just perfect. Highly recommended! We also ordered both the traditional gỏi cuốn spring rolls and the grilled rolls. Both were decent, though I personally preferred the traditional ones since the grilled meat version was a bit dry, but still flavorful overall. The dish that truly stood out for us was the bún bò Huế, aaaaaaabsolutely spot on! It was packed with authentic flavor, and we were impressed to see they used the thick, round bún noodles like in Vietnam, which is rare to find in the U.S. The phở was lighter in flavor than I personally prefer but still enjoyable and well-balanced for a wide range of tastes. What really pleased me the most, though, was how kind and accommodating the staff were. We ran into a few issues because they were out of some ingredients that night, but the staff handled everything with such professionalism and care. I also noticed how carefully and neatly they packed and secured our to-go foods. So many times when I ordered to-go foods, especially soup dishes, it always spilled but I doubt that would happen here. Overall, all the dishes we tried tasted authentic and delicious, definitely worth the drive to visit for the first time. It’s easy to see why so many people love this place!
Read moreI haven't even tried my food yet and this place more than deserves 5 stars. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Ricky with such a welcoming smile I felt like I walked into a friend house. My sister just had surgery and he heard me on the phone with them, put a rush on my food so I could get her asap. While I waited I was offered a water and a place to sit with a table while my order was being made. The inside is so clean and inviting. It looks as if they're going to have an outdoor sitting area but it didn't appear to be set up when I came. My food is to-go and I'm sure I'll be adding to this with pictures of our food and a review on that. So far, I absolutely recommend this place even if it's just for the environment.
So my sister and I came back because I forgot her spring rolls and I'm over the moon happy with how our experience went! We ended up dining in and since another person heard me ask my sister if she wanted to just sit here and eat before heading home, they showed us a table, brought out dishes for our food that was in Togo containers and Derrick took great care of us. I happened to stumble upon this place and now I'm going to definitely be making special trips out here just for this AMAZING food. I cannot wait to take my kids and nieces...
