Food | Médoc's White Asparagus
Every time I visit the Left Bank chateaux, lunch is always at Le Saint Julien . This season, it’s not too crowded, but making a reservation is definitely a good idea. In the summer, it’s almost impossible to get a table because the best chef in the village is right here. 👨🍳 For the appetizer, I ordered the seasonal ‘white asparagus’. The waiter said it was picked this morning from the neighboring village. It’s incredibly fresh. One bite, and you can taste the tenderness! 🌱 And speaking of the health benefits of white asparagus: Asparagus contains all the essential amino acids in just the right proportions. It’s also rich in minerals like selenium, molybdenum, magnesium, and manganese, and has a high content of non-protein nitrogen compounds, mainly asparagine and aspartic acid. Regular consumption can help with conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, tachycardia, fatigue, edema, cystitis, and urinary difficulties. My dining partner said there aren’t many places that can make quail this delicious, and this place is definitely one of them. 🍗 #TasteTheFoodItself #GourmetArtist #FrenchCuisine #ExploringNewCuisines #Bordeaux1855Classification #Bordeaux #BordeauxTravel
