Food 😋 El Paso Mexican Food Heaven – Andale
Food 😋 El Paso Mexican Food Heaven – Andale On the last night of our New Mexico road trip, we stayed in El Paso—turns out it's still Texas territory! I really love this city 🌆🤠, so I looked up local Mexican food; after all, being on the US-Mexico border, I figured it must be authentic. After checking many recommendations, we went to Andale restaurant. Sure enough, the food, ambiance, and prices were all top-notch! 👍🌟 I ordered los panchos plus an Angus beef taco 😍. The most surprising was the fried beef intestine taco in the taco combo—it tasted like it was coated in salted egg yolk and fried, so fragrant when it first arrived! The Angus beef one was also great—perfect for friends who want to try different taco flavors 🌮🔥. My boyfriend ordered a burrito (which wasn’t on the menu—he just really likes them 😂). We asked the server, and she checked with the kitchen, then told us they still had ingredients. He got a beef and bean one and said it was the best burrito he's ever had 🤣, plus it was huge! When we got the bill, we found his two burritos only cost $7 total (we tipped extra, of course 💸💖). Finally, we had the flaming ice cream—though putting out the fire felt a bit like “spring breeze blows, it regrows” 😂. The ice cream seemed coated in sweet cereal, and after torching, it smelled amazing, with a light caramel flavor 🍨🔥. Overall, the price, flavor, ambiance, and dining experience all exceeded expectations. Our total was $43 💰✨. Later, chatting with our server, we learned they’ve been open for 18 years. I’d revisit El Paso just for this place! #NewMexico#Texas#MexicanFood#NorthAmericaTravel#Food
