Food Discovery | Delicious Uzbek Cuisine😋
👀A few days ago, I was looking through my photo album and saw the soap slices from Piroshky in Seattle's Pike Place Market, which made me crave beef and cheese! I opened Google Maps to see if there were any Russian bakeries in Dallas. Although I didn't find any, I came across an Uzbek restaurant with seemingly good photos and reviews, so I decided to give it a try. ✔️Let's get straight to the point: 🍚Plov (Beef Hand-Pulled Rice): It's very similar to Xinjiang hand-pulled rice but oilier and more fragrant, with the meat being extremely tender (even though we ate it with spoons and forks). 🥐Samsa (Mutton Baked Buns): Isn't this just like Xinjiang baked buns! The difference is that it uses buttery puff pastry, and the filling has a richer flavor. One bite is so fragrant that it overwhelmed me! The mutton filling is substantial, and one bun is enough to make you 70% full. I couldn't even finish the rice. 🍡Lamb Kebab: Personally, I think it's just okay. The mutton has a strong gamey flavor, probably because it wasn't marinated long enough? (You can order it or not) That's all! 💰The average cost per person is between $20-$40. 🔍Bubala Cafe & Grill 📍17479 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252 #LifeInUSA #FoodExploration #MyFoodDiary #BakedBuns
