🌲 Food Gems in Tahoe & Sacramento – A Delicious Surprise! 🌲

Over Memorial Day weekend, I discovered some incredible eats in Tahoe and Sacramento – total foodie heaven! 😋 🏔️ South Lake Tahoe 📍 My Thai Cuisine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A beloved Thai spot with 2,000+ Google reviews! We arrived at 7:30 PM and waited an hour—but it was totally worth it! The flavors are bold and unforgettable. Hangover Noodle: My #1! Wok-fried with a savory, slightly spicy kick. Crab Fried Rice: My boyfriend’s favorite – fragrant, generous portion, packed with crab meat. Tom Yum Soup Noodle: Sour, salty, and super appetizing! Wings: Good, but not as standout compared to the other dishes. 📍 Dragonfly Bagels ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ultimate Breakfast Bagel: Avocado, bacon, egg – maybe griddled? So crispy and flavorful! 🥯 📍 Drink Coffee Do Stuff ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Latte: Better than Starbucks! 👍 Bagels: Just okay – basic and filling, but not special. 🏙️ Sacramento Perfect pit stop between the Bay and Tahoe! 📍 Old Guilin – Guilin Rice Noodles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheap, delicious, no tip required, and unlimited toppings! Go during off-hours – dinner can be crowded with shared long tables. 📍 New Happy Garden Dim Sum ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Probably the dim sum spot with the most non-Chinese customers I’ve seen! We were almost the only Chinese folks there, but the food was surprisingly authentic and delicious. Must-orders: Durian pastry, shrimp dumplings, pineapple buns, pork & century congee, spare ribs in black bean sauce! #TahoeFood #LakeTahoe #SacramentoEats #Foodie #BayAreaWeekends #DimSum #ThaiFood #TravelEats
