First food guide is here β πππ "Eating in Lincoln" Series β Part 1: Lan House Those of us who grew up in China must have had a bowl of steaming hot Lanzhou noodles! Honestly, I didnβt have high expectations for this noodle restaurant at first, but wow β their hand-pulled noodles are incredibly authentic! ππ Located in downtown Lincoln, itβs just a 5-minute walk from the student union. I often stop by between classes πββοΈπ¨. The shop is cozy with a retro vibe that I really dig. Thereβs nothing like enjoying a quiet bowl of noodles here in the afternoon! Their most famous dish is the Lanzhou Beef Noodle β you can choose flat or round noodles. All noodles are hand-pulled, chewy, and full of bounce. The beef broth is light and flavorful β I often finish the whole bowl of soup... πβΊοΈ Besides the amazing noodles, I highly recommend the Roujiamo (Chinese Burger) and Spicy Shredded Potato Salad. The Roujiamo is stuffed with tender braised pork β juicy but not greasy β wrapped in a freshly baked bun. Every bite is pure satisfaction π€€π₯.
