"Eating in Lincoln" Series โ€“ Part 2: Imperial Palace ๐Ÿฎ If weโ€™re talking about one of the most popular and largest Chinese restaurants in Lincoln, Imperial Palace definitely tops the list! As soon as you step inside, youโ€™re greeted with a luxurious and glittering atmosphere โ€” it truly lives up to its reputation as a Northern Chinese cuisine gem ๐Ÿฏโœจ. The walls are decorated with traditional paintings and wood carvings, giving the space a rich cultural vibe. While itโ€™s a bit farther from campus (about a 3-minute drive ๐Ÿš—), itโ€™s totally worth the trip and is a perfect spot for gatherings with friends. The restaurant even offers two private KTV rooms โ€” nothing beats singing your heart out while enjoying great food! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ˜† Right across the street is my go-to Asian grocery store, Oriental Market. I often stop by for some shopping after a satisfying meal ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿฅฌ. (Stay tuned for a dedicated grocery guide later!) Imperial Palace recently introduced new dishes: Spicy Crawfish ๐Ÿฆž and Pot Pot Shrimp ๐Ÿฆ โ€” and they are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Even for someone like me who loves spice but has low tolerance ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜…, the heat level was just perfect. (Sorry, no pics โ€” I devoured them too fast! ๐Ÿ˜‚) Some of my other favorites include: Spicy Dry-Braised Fish Dry Pot Cauliflower Dry Pot Tofu Mala Xiang Guo Coconut Walnut Shrimp Chongqing Grilled Fish Lamb Skewers Guo Bao Rou (Sweet & Crispy Pork) Honestly, itโ€™s hard to go wrong here! Plus, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable โ€” great value for delicious food ๐Ÿฅก๐Ÿ’ฏ. When dining in, they serve light tea complimentary, and after your meal, you get golden fried mantou (steamed buns) as a dessert โ€” crispy outside, soft inside, drizzled with sweet condensed milkโ€ฆ pure happiness! ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ˜ They also sell authentic Shandong-style big steamed buns โ€” a must-try, especially for my fellow Northerners! ๐Ÿฅ ๐Ÿ‘Œ Thatโ€™s all for todayโ€™s share!
