Food Hunt | šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Must-Eat in Niagara-on-the-Lake—Treadwell

Tucked away on the west corner of Queen Street, the town’s main drag, this little restaurant doesn’t have a huge storefront, but its decor is sleek and minimalist. There’s even a cozy outdoor patio šŸŒæā€”and let me tell you, the food here blew me away. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had lately! The menu changes often, printed on a plain A4 sheet with a small selection—but every dish has a unique, standout flavor. Plus, the portions are generous enough to leave you full and satisfied. šŸ„— Chardonnay Steamed P.E.I Mussels Incredibly delicious!! I even sopped up every drop of the creamy broth with bread. The mussels are plump and super fresh, and the bread—fried in butter—was soft, warm, and fragrant. So good I didn’t leave a crumb! šŸ— Duck Confit Gotta say, this confit duck leg might just be better than the mussels—total showstopper! The duck is impossibly flavorful, with zero excess fat. The skin is crispy and caramelized, topped with a sunny-side-up duck egg and a few asparagus spears. That rich, savory fat? Pure satisfaction in every bite šŸ˜ 🄩 Grilled Ontario Beef Ribeye One of the best steaks I’ve had at a Western restaurant. The sauce has a subtle teriyaki-like sweetness, and the meat was cooked to absolute perfection—juicy and tender. Huge portion too—even hungry guys will leave full! 🄪 Lobster Club on Duck Fat Fried Sourdough Saw the chefs cranking out tons of these at the bar. The sourdough is fried crispy in duck fat, piled high with lobster meat and bacon. Word on the street? It’s amazing, but might get a little rich if you eat the whole thing šŸ˜‰ šŸŸ Also, their fries come in massive portions—like, served in a bowl big enough for a crowd. Pro tip: skip it if you’re dining solo or with a small group! šŸ  Restaurant: Treadwell Cuisine šŸ“ Location: 114 Queen St, Niagara-on-the-Lake šŸ· Price: $$$, but totally worth the value šŸ“… Hours: Clear split for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast 8:00-10:00am, lunch 11:30am-2:00pm, dinner slots at 5:00-5:45pm and 8:00-8:45pm. Definitely book ahead! #WeekendGetaway #FoodieInspiration #TorontoPhotography #TorontoLongWeekend #TorontoWeekendSpots #NiagaraFalls #NiagaraWineries #CanadaWineries #TorontoDayTrips #TorontoFamilyFun #TorontoDateSpots #LocalEatsWhileTraveling
