Day Trip Around Toronto | Niagara Falls Food: Lake House 🌊

Took advantage of the Christmas break to visit the falls with friends 🎄! We heard about Lake House, a Western restaurant, from Xiaohongshu recommendations, so we decided to check it out 🍴. Their appetizers were really impressive: Lobster pizza 🦞: Rich and cheesy, with chunks of tender lobster that made every bite indulgent. Caesar salad 🥗: Fresh and crisp, with just the right amount of creamy dressing—classic done well. Fresh P.E.I Mussels 🌊: Plump and flavorful, cooked in a savory broth that we couldn’t help but soak up with bread. Crusted Calamari 🦑: Lightly fried to a golden crunch, not greasy at all—perfect with the accompanying dip. Sadly, the main course fish tacos were a letdown 😕. They felt underwhelming, with dry fish and not enough flavor. But their beef burger totally made up for it! The patty was juicy and tender, cooked just right—highly recommended 🍔. The real star, though, is the view 🌟. The restaurant sits right by the lake, offering stunning scenery. If you’re into that, definitely book a window seat when you reserve. We went in winter, so the patio was off-limits ❄️, but I can only imagine how lovely it’d be in summer—dining al fresco with the lake breeze and sunset? Pure bliss 😌.
