Food Recommendations for Savannah, a Southern US Town šŸ“

Food Recommendations for Savannah, a Southern US Town šŸ“ I tried several restaurants in Savannah (check out my previous post for city photos). There were popular spots like Collins Quarter, and new gems I discovered on my own—overall, I was really satisfied with the food! šŸ–¼ļøa.Lure Savannah (No details on the dishes, but from the photo, it looks like a stylish, great spotļ½ž šŸ˜‰) šŸ–¼ļø Collins Quarter This is a popular brunch spot in Savannah, but for me, it’s just "average"ļ½ž The food is indeed good—classic Eggs Benedict and French toast use fresh ingredients and have decent seasoning. But it’s not "amazing," maybe because I’m spoiled by the incredible food in Manhattan? šŸ˜‚ Luckily, there’s no line if you go at 10 AM. When I passed by at noon later, the line was super long—I’m glad I went early! šŸ–¼ļø Leopold’s ice cream šŸ¦ This deserves all the praise! It’s really delicious! Highly recommend rum raisin with a waffle coneļ½ž I don’t usually drink alcohol, but the rum flavor here blends perfectly with the sweetness of the raisins—rich but not overpowering. Each bite is full of nutty, creamy goodness, so smooth it melts your heart. You’ll want a second scoop after finishing! šŸ–¼ļø Rhett This was my favorite restaurant this trip, located in The Alida Hotel Savannah by the riverļ½ž No one mentioned it in my research, but it’s actually part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, right across from JW Marriott—great location! šŸØ The hotel has a cute, artsy vibe with a light peach scent in the air—it feels so cozy as soon as you walk inļ½ž The restaurant isn’t crowded, no wait at all, and the ambiance and service are top-notch! The mussels for dinner were plump and tender, in a rich, slightly boozy sauce—perfect with bread for dippingļ½ž The pecan pie surprised me too—not too sweet, with a strong, nutty flavor. Nut lovers will be in heaven! I’ve already decided to stay at this hotel next time I visit Savannah, so I can eat here anytimeļ½ž šŸ˜ One more tip: If you want to eat at local popular restaurants like The Olde Pink House or Husk, book in advance! When I checked a week early, spots were already full for two weeks… We tried walking in around 5 PM, but there was a 50+ minute wait, so we gave up. It’s insanely popular! 🤯 #savannah#FoodRecommendations#Travel#DailyFood
