Food Review | LA's Korean-Style Braised Pork Trotter - Every Bite is !
First time visiting this Korean-style braised pork trotter restaurant โ the moment we sat down, we were treated to an array of generous side dishes! The bean sprout soup was served hot, with a fresh and mildly spicy flavor. The kimchi, surprisingly, had a mild tasteโnot sour at all, which was different from what I expected, yet refreshing in its own way! ๐ฎ โจ Signature Braised Pork Trotter Visually impressive right when served โ a huge plate, neatly sliced! The skin was wonderfully QQ (chewy and springy), the meat tender and firm with just the right seasoning โ not too greasy, not too bland. Two dipping sauces were provided to complement it perfectly. ๐ฅฌ Pork Belly Wrapped in Cabbage A must-order for me at any Korean restaurant! Wrapping the savory pork belly in fresh cabbage and taking a big bite is incredibly satisfying! ๐ฅฐ ๐ฅ Potato & Pork Spine Soup Served piping hot in a vibrant red broth with a strong, aromatic perilla leaf flavor โ both warming and appetite-stimulating. A great choice for those who enjoy bold flavors! ๐ฅ Seafood Pancake This was a real surprise! Super thick and whole, it looked almost like a pizza when served. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, packed with shrimp, squid, and mussels โ a truly rich texture. I usually pick out bell peppers, but this time they paired perfectly with the seafood, adding a wonderful layer of flavor. ๐ The portions here are huge โ ideal for dining in a group so you can try a bit of everything! ๐คค ๐ ฟ๏ธ Conveniently located in a plaza with its own parking lot. ๐ LA Jangchung Jokbal 2716 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90006 #LosAngeles #Ktown #LALife #LAFood #LAExploration #KoreanFood #BraisedPorkTrotter #MeatLovers #KoreanCuisine
