Found Authentic & Affordable Michelin
📍 Ipoh Kopitiam · Los Angeles Haven’t had Malaysian/Singaporean food in a while—stumbled upon this spot and later found out it’s been a Michelin Guide recommendation for several years (no wonder the line never stopped during peak hours!). Ordered all my cravings 👇 🍜 Char Kway Teow – A signature Ipoh dish, loaded with bean sprouts and veggies—not too heavy. 🫖 Bak Kut Teh – Malaysian-style (not the pepper-heavy Singapore version). Strong herbal notes, perfect for warming up in winter. 🥥 Nasi Lemak – That sambal sauce I’ve missed! So good (the curry chicken was decent). 🍜 Laksa – Rare to find in the US! Pretty authentic, though the broth was a tad sweet. ☕ Kopi – Classic Southeast Asian coffee. Teh, Yuan Yang, Milo—they’ve got it all. 💰 Around $20 per person #LAFood #NanyangFlavors #SoutheastAsianFood #IpohEats #LosAngeles #LADining #LATravel 🥢
