Frankfurt's Creative Cuisine Zenzakan

Treat yourself to a steak🥩 and a glass of red wine🍷 to unwind after work on Friday. Zenzakan is a great choice. This restaurant, part of the Mook Group, is a creative Michelin-recommended dining spot. The average cost per person is around 100 euros (appetizer, main course, dessert, and beverage). They also offer snacks and cocktails. This time, we ordered the appetizers of beef sushi🍣 and beef siu mai. The wagyu beef melts in your mouth, and the siu mai tastes good too, but both appetizers were a bit salty for my taste. For the main course, we had the sirloin steak and braised beef short ribs. The sirloin steak was cooked to medium, served on grilled onions with teriyaki sauce, which had a unique flavor. The short ribs had a taste similar to our braised beef, and the main course sides were spinach salad🥗 and stir-fried seasonal vegetables. The salad was very refreshing, while the vegetables were nothing special. For dessert, we had matcha mochi and cheesecake🍰. The matcha mochi was not sweet and was paired with matcha ice cream. The cheesecake itself was not particularly special in taste, but when paired with kumquat slices🍊 and lemon-flavored🍋 ice cream, it instantly opens up your taste buds. A reminder: Be sure to book a table in advance on their website, and dress appropriately. Also, a bottle of water before the meal costs 9.9 euros. It's perfect for birthday parties, anniversaries, and small gatherings with friends. Dress up and enjoy the delicious food👭. #GermanFood #FrankfurtFood #FrankfurtFoodRecommendation #WeekendExplore #Steak #SirloinSteak #FrankfurtExplore #GermanLife #FrankfurtWeekend #MichelinRecommended
