Frankfurt stone grill is really fragrant! Right in the city center 🏙️
There's a restaurant called Eschenheimer Turm that I absolutely love to visit when I'm out shopping or hanging out in the city center around mealtime. Its location is just near Hauptwache, making it perfect for finding a spot to sit, have a drink, and chat in the heart of the city~In summer, you can even sit at the swing chairs and tables! The menu isn't extensive, but their signature dishes like burgers 🍔, stone grills, and thin-crust German pizzas are all exceptionally good. Personally, I'm a big fan of the stone grills~As shown in the photo, you grill your own meat on a heated rock, and you can choose from chicken, steak 🥩, tiger prawns, salmon, or a mixed land and sea platter. Each grill comes with a side salad 🥗 and two dipping sauces. The salad here is really tasty! For the dipping sauce, I recommend Kräuterbutter, which not only prevents the meat from sticking to the rock when grilling but also enhances the flavor of the 🥩 and 🦐~ I highly recommend the mixed grill platter so you can try a bit of everything~The beauty of grilling your own meat is that you can control the level of doneness to your liking. I prefer my steak and 🦐 to be well-done, and grilling is also a lot of fun~Here's a tip: if the rock cools down and you're not done grilling, you can ask the waiter for a new hot rock! By the way, the drinks and cocktails 🍸 here are also fantastic. If you don't drink alcohol, you can order non-alcoholic cocktails, which are also very well made. My must-order every time is the coconut kiss, a non-alcoholic pink cocktail that's sweet and sour and incredibly delicious. Since the restaurant is open all day, it's perfect for someone like me who might get tired from shopping and just wants to drop in for a meal without any reservations, haha~ Overall, when in Frankfurt, this restaurant's stone grill and cocktails are highly recommended~ #Frankfurt #HiddenGem #StoneGrill #GermanLife
