Franklin Park Lights: A Magical Summer Night in Boston 🌙🦒
🅿️ Visited on a Monday night at 8:30 PM—even though the event had just started, it wasn’t too crowded. Plus, there’s free parking right on site! ⭐️ The scale of the lantern festival was much larger than expected—a delightful surprise! The displays covered traditional Chinese themes 🐉, ocean worlds 🐠, jungle adventures 🐘, and even a dedicated Indian zone 🐘🎨 (not sure why, but it was beautiful!). Some lanterns were interactive, with swings and xylophones built right in 🎶💺. We took our time and spent about 1.5 hours strolling through the entire wonderland. 💰 Tickets: Single ticket: $24 per person Group of 4 package: $80 total ($20 per person)—great for families or friends! 🌙 Why It’s Perfect for Beating the Heat: The event runs after dark when temperatures drop 🌬️ Lit pathways and glowing sculptures create a cool, enchanting atmosphere ✨ Plenty of shaded seating areas and mist fans near food stalls 🍦❄️ 🍴 Extra Tips: Bring bug spray—it’s still a zoo at night! 🦟 Wear comfy shoes for walking 👟 Don’t miss the glowing giraffes and luminous lions—they’re Insta-famous! 📸 Whether you’re looking for a romantic date spot 💑 or a fun family outing, this lantern festival is a sparkling escape from the summer heat. #LanternFestival #FranklinParkZoo #BostonEvents #SummerInBoston #ThingsToDo #FamilyFun #BostonNightlife #ZooLights 🎪🐾
