Free English Class in Auckland ✨

Practice Speaking at a Super Friendly Church!Highly recommend Auckland Baptist Tabernacle for anyone wanting to improve English on weekends! The church has an amazing vibe — everyone is warm and welcoming, no awkwardness at all, like a cozy big family ❤️~ 🗣️ Key Highlights:✅ Free English classes! Saturdays focus on daily communication (perfect for speaking practice); Sundays have English classes but centered on Bible stories (details below)✅ Level-based teaching: Beginners join the elementary class, those with basic English go to the intermediate class — targeted learning✅ Participants have good English skills, focusing on real communication — better for improving expression than regular classes✅ Great perks: Morning tea break 🍵 during Saturday’s 10:00-12:00 class, plus free lunch afterward! Voluntary $5 donation for the second visit (super flexible)✅ Freedom of religion! No pressure at all — everyone’s choices are respected 📍 Address: Queen Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010 New Zealand 📅 Schedule:▪️ Saturday: 10:00-12:00 (English communication-focused, ideal for pure language learning)▪️ Sunday: 10:30-12:00 (English class + Bible story sharing, core around faith promotion) 💡 Personal Update (November 30th):▫️ Saturday is better for pure English learning! Sunday is the church’s worship day — while there’s an English class, it’s mainly about Bible stories. They promote their faith, which is understandable, but they fully respect your choices. You can leave freely if you don’t share the same beliefs~▫️ About faith: I’m not a Christian and can’t bring myself to believe in religious content. Today the teacher said "all stories in the Bible are facts," which I couldn’t agree with — it was the first time I left early 😔~ Overall, the church respects personal opinions and never forces anything.▫️ My plan: Even though we have different beliefs, I’m grateful for the free learning opportunity. I intend to give back by volunteering — helping clean up after lunch to do my part ❤️~ #StudyAbroad #ForeignLanguage #MulticulturalExploration #LanguageLearning #EnglishClass #Bilingual #AucklandLife #NewZealandLife #NewZealandTravel #LightOnGreenery
