French Cuisine in North York, Toronto ๐
I had an amazing birthday ๐ at Auberge du Pommier! After checking out reviews and deciding to give it a try, Iโd rate it a solid 7/10. Here are the pros and cons: ๐ Pros: The dishes were all really tasty, especially the perfectly cooked lamb chops. ๐ They served palate cleansers before and after the main course, which was a nice touch. The servers were super friendly and made the whole experience very enjoyable. ๐ I heard they write "Happy Birthday" in French on the dessert for birthday celebrations (even though I donโt speak French) and light candles. ๐ ๐ Cons: There werenโt any major drawbacks, but the dishes didnโt quite reach the "wow" factor. ๐ Since I usually eat Italian food, French cuisine is less common for me, and I was expecting to be more impressed compared to my previous experiences. I took the subway to get there, and the walk from the station was uphill, which was a bit tiring in heels. ๐ #FrenchCuisine #DateNightRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem
