French Restaurant Recommendation in Yorba Linda
Today, I’m sharing a hidden gem in Orange County—a cozy, family-style French restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance, and honestly, you’d never notice it unless you were specifically searching for French cuisine in the area. Tucked away in an unassuming Yorba Linda plaza, this place is easy to miss, but the food? Absolutely outstanding! You can tell the owner puts real thought into every dish on the menu, and I love the simple, welcoming vibe of this spot. Must-Try Dishes: 🐌 Escargot – Flawless. A must-order. 🧅 French Onion Soup – Solid, with a generous layer of melted cheese (just be careful—it likes to cling to your spoon). The broth itself is rich and delicious. 🍤 Shrimp Macaron – Highly recommend! The filling features fresh shrimp and a touch of chives, paired with a mild Peruvian green sauce (not spicy at all). Unique and delightful texture—definitely a standout. 🦞 Lobster Pasta – Perfectly executed. A great choice. 🌟 Uni Pasta – My personal favorite! The sea urchin isn’t overly fishy, and the sauce clings to the pasta beautifully. 🍝 Soupy Seafood Medley Pasta – Impeccable. This seems to be a newer addition (I don’t recall seeing it last time). As someone picky about seafood, I was impressed—the seafood was cooked just right, and the broth was incredibly flavorful. Their house-made pasta has the perfect chew, and even though we were already full… we had to finish every last bite. #LALife #LAEats #OCFoodie #OrangeCountyEats
