Fresno Blossom & Family Adventure 🌸

Heard the blooms in Fresno were peaking, so we planned a day trip last weekend—left the South Bay early in the morning! 🌼 First Stop: Scenic View Point We pulled over here while switching drivers—what a lucky find! A beautiful spot with easy access to the lake, perfect for photos. 🦒 Second Stop: Fresno Chaffee Zoo A compact but fun zoo with plenty of activities—shows, crafts, and more. Paid experiences include touching stingrays and feeding giraffes (note: giraffe feeding is temporarily closed for maintenance this week). Food is available inside. 🎠 Third Stop: Storyland Amusement Park (across from the zoo) Colorful and full of rides—we even spotted Super Mario greeting guests at the entrance! Great if you have extra time. 🚗 Fourth Stop: Fresno County Blossom Trail A 60-mile loop drive through blooming orchards. We stopped at an apricot blossom grove, but peach blossoms are also in full swing. Use the official interactive map on Google Maps for real-time navigation. 📌 Tips: If you only want to see flowers, Tracy might be closer. The route toward Fresno via Los Banos also offers plenty of blooms—you don’t have to commit to the full trail. Giraffe feeding is currently paused due to maintenance. Also, parking at the zoo gets tricky later in the day. Bring a camera or drone for the best blossom photos. The light around 3 PM is ideal for portrait photography. Wishing everyone a joyful blossom season—don’t miss out on spring’s beauty! 🌸📸 #FamilyFun #BayAreaWeekends #WeekendWithKids #BayAreaKids #BlossomTrail #SpringBlossoms #SpringFlowerSpots
