Scenic View Point — Local services in Los Banos

An unmarked parking lot with a scenic view of the reservoir with trails up and around the hill or down to the beach. Some people go fishing here. It has an ample size parking area but not recommended for cars. The drop off from the pavement to the dirt parking area is huge. Uneven gaps or deep holes/ cracks between the road and the curved. Going back into the road can be a problem on a busy traffic. My SUV felt like it cracks the axle when I pulled off to this area. Better avoid this spot. The one before this has a better vantage point and easier in and out....

Hard to enter from the opposite as one might wait for busy traffic to come and make a large left turn. Viewpoint at the West point of the lake! The view is a little bit blocked. Nice view here but might not go...
