Friends who love Boulder, you’ve gotta hit this trail no questions ask

Why? Because you’ll unexpectedly get a rock climbing experience while hiking!🎶 This route in Rocky Mountain National Park connects several lakes, each unique due to different elevations. There are plenty of rocks by the lakes to climb 🪨, allowing you to unlock crowd-free views.❤️ Even in mid-June, there was still snow on this trail. Spikes would be helpful, but it’s totally doable without them. There’s one very steep snow section that turns many people back since a slip could lead to a cliff drop—but following previous hikers’ footsteps made it steady. On the way back, I initially planned to climb down backward but ended up just sliding down on my 🍑 lol. This time, I couldn’t get a permit, so I took the shuttle. The bus ticket includes the park entry permit—no extra application needed. Next post, I’ll share how to do a hardcore day trip from Denver to Rocky Mountain and back 🥰 #RockyMountains #RockyMountainNationalPark #Hiking #ExploreOnFoot #Denver #DenverTravel #Tips
