Fuji | Away from the Crowds, Enjoy Tea by Mount Fuji with a Grandpa ๐
๐ Shizuoka Prefecture, Fuji City, Oobu Sasaba ๐๐ข Shizuoka is pretty famous for its tea, and thereโs a large tea plantation at the foot of Mount Fuji. ๐๐บ This particular area has fewer utility poles, making it a popular spot for photography. If you visit in the right season, you can capture locals in traditional farming attire picking tea leaves. ๐๐ฟ Itโs not crowded at all! I stayed from 8 to 10 a.m. and only saw a handful of people, so you can really take your time to capture great shots. ๐ธ Itโs not far from the Dream Bridge, so you can visit that first and then head here. ๐๐ข Thereโs no need to arrive super early, as the scenery isnโt as appealing before the sun rises. ๐๐ธ Compared to the Fuji Five Lakes area, this part of Shizuoka is truly sereneโfewer people, better views. Five stars! Highly recommended! ๐ No entrance fee, free parking, and great photo spots. ๐๐ข When I visited, there was only one grandpa selling tea. ๐ต The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away, which is still quite manageable. ๐ ๐๐ธ #MountFuji #JapanTravelTips ๐๐ฟ
