Fuji Outbound Journey: I encountered the May Day holiday, and the bus tickets for the two mornings with good visibility were no longer available through the highwaybus website (heard that they can be bought on the spot that day). Eventually, I decided to take the subway directly from the hotel in Tokyo to Kawaguchiko. 🚇 Total Route from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko is divided into two major sections: Tokyo City - Otsuki - Kawaguchiko 1️⃣ First Step: From the city to Otsuki Station, it takes about 2 hours, and you can plan the specific route with either Navitime or Google Maps. 💰 Cost: From Tokyo Station to Otsuki via Nakano, Toyota, 1594 Yen. 2️⃣ Second Step: Take the Fuji Kyuko Line (directly brush Suica card, slow) or Fuji Kyuko (book in advance on the website, fast) from Otsuki Station, direct to Kawaguchiko Station (passing through Shimoyoshida, Fuji-Q Highland, etc., get off if needed). 💰 Cos*: Fuji Kyuko Line to Kawaguchiko, 1161 Yen. ⏰ Tips: There are not many Fuji Kyuko Line schedules, with 8:19, 8:50, and 9:16 before 9:30. To get there earlier, we took the subway in Tokyo before seven in the morning and caught the 9:16 train, finally arriving at Kawaguchiko Station at 10:14. ⌚️ Total Duration: Three and a half hours. 💰 Total Cost: 1594 + 1161 = 2755 Yen (about 140 RMB). 🚍 **Within Kawaguchiko Resort**: You can use Suica card for the entire journey on the red bus, there are signs outside, and the guidebook comes in multiple languages. Fuji Attractions: Kawaguchiko - Shimoyoshida 1️⃣ Buy the cheapest slow train, swipe Suica card for 310 Yen (15 RMB) per person; 2️⃣ Buy the express train, swipe Suica card for 710 Yen (35 RMB) per person.
