The museum's forecourt features a waterscape named "Mirror in the Water," which appears to connect with the Εi River. π’π On a sunny day, the still pond water, under the sunlight, seems to reflect another sky. π ππΊTo create the effect of connecting the courtyard waterscape with the Εi River, the designer used a six-tiered waterfall to create a height difference, allowing the water to cascade down in layers. Paired with segmented stone placement, this design adds another layer of landscape and Zen-inspired scenery to the courtyard. π’π The stones at the bottom of the pond are not fixed but are arranged horizontally with a checkerboard pattern made of sand and gravel, blurring the boundary between the courtyard and the waterscape. πΏ Great example to share, if you like it, remember to like, save, and comment! ππΊ #ExampleShare πΏ #CourtyardDesign πΏ #ZenInspiration πΏ
