Each tour we joined cost about $55 per person. We did three tours in total — all of them were pretty fun! Trying to fit all three into one day was a bit of a rush, but we managed to pull it off 💪🗺️. The swamp tour was the one we looked forward to the most. Just a heads-up: while it's a great experience, keep your expectations in check when it comes to wildlife — you might only spot a few alligators 🐊🌿. The scenery is beautiful though, and cruising through the bayou is peaceful in its own way. We did notice quite a few homeless people in some areas around the tour starting points. Also, a word of advice: avoid talking to the "monks" you might encounter — it's better to just cross the street and keep walking 🚶‍♀️🚦.
