Fun in the Netherlands｜Duinrell Frog Park Day Trip 🐸🌈

Sometimes, it’s fun to join the kids and have a blast! 💃🏻 I went on a double date 💞 with a couple of friends to Frog Park, Duinrell! You can get there from The Hague Central Station 🚉 by taking bus 44. The park tickets are around €30, and there’s also the Tikibad water park inside, which costs about €20 extra. If you have a Rotterdampas, you can enter the park for free! 🎫 Duinrell is perfect for couples and families, with roller coasters 🎢 for all ages! For the thrill-seekers like me, the Falcon roller coaster is the best—there’s a vertical drop and a full 360° loop! 🥺 For the younger kids, there’s also the Kikkerachtbaan (Frog Roller Coaster). Another favorite of mine is the Aqua Shute—you sit on a sled 🛷 and slide down a steep, 18-meter-high ramp! It’s super exciting (and a bit scary!). There are bumper cars, bumper boats, a Ferris wheel 🎡, carousel 🎠, and more. I highly recommend the Rodelbaan, where you ride a sled-like cart down a slide track through the Duinrell forest. If you’re going to Duinrell 🐸, you can’t miss their water park, Tikibad! Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my phone inside, so no photos. Tikibad is amazing, with all kinds of indoor slides, and they keep the temperature around 30°C, so you don’t have to worry about getting cold 🧊, even in winter! Tikibad’s slides add up to a whopping 1.5 km (according to the official site! 🫢). The scariest for me was Pelikaanduik, where you stop about 5 meters above the water, then free-fall into a 3-meter-deep pool 😫. It’s thrilling—a real out-of-control experience! For those wearing bikinis 👙, watch out! The water pressure can be intense, and things might slip out of place 😰. Another intense one is X-stream, where you stand in a small capsule, and after dramatic music and lights, the floor drops unexpectedly, sending you nearly vertically down the slide 😨. There are also fun tandem slides for couples, where you slide down together in a double tube 🛟. Check the website for even more slides! Tikibad also has hot tubs and a kids’ area 🥰. I’m a huge fan of Frog Park and go at least once a year ☺️. One day, I hope to stay in one of their bungalows ⛱️ for a fully immersive experience!
