Funke – One of LA’s Top Italian Restaurants 🇮🇹✨

Hey everyone, I’m back! First up—sharing the restaurant I visited for my birthday this year. Funke is helmed by the same chef as Mother Wolf and Felix, making it one of LA’s absolute best Italian spots 🍝👌. When we got married last year, Funke was actually on our shortlist for dinner—they have a stunning upstairs room perfect for private events! 💒 We arrived a bit too early to snag seating, but we still got to check out the patio and snap some photos. Highly recommend arriving early for a drink on the terrace—it’s beautiful, and their cocktails are delicious 🍸💖. Yes, they’re $25 each, but totally worth it 😌. The food was outstanding across the board—authentic, classic Italian with no unnecessary fuss. I specifically chose Funke to treat my mom to their pesto pasta, and it did not disappoint! 🌿🍜 We ordered two pastas and a pizza, but the kitchen was a bit slow—so the chef surprised us with a complimentary lemon pasta, which was unexpectedly amazing. Their handmade pasta is seriously next-level! 🍋🤤 By dessert, I was in full food coma mode 🛌. We tried the doughnuts—fluffy and delightful—and they even gave us chocolates and candies to take home! 🍩🍫 Our waitress was incredibly kind and passionate—she patiently guided us through the all-Italian menu and made the experience feel special.
