Gam Ja Chon – Korean Pork Neck Stew & Fried Rice Heaven! πŸ–πŸ”₯

When the weather cools down, nothing beats a steaming, hearty Korean stew shared with friends! We visited Gam Ja Chon β€” a local favorite packed with Korean diners (always a good sign!). The staff are warm Korean aunties with charming accents that make the whole experience feel extra cozy and authentic. Our group of 8 people ordered 2 pots of pork neck stew (Gamjatang) β€” and it was absolutely delicious! 🍲 The broth was rich and flavorful. πŸ– The pork neck meat was tender and generous β€” no skimping here! πŸ₯¬ We added veggies, but honestly, you can skip the extra toppings (mostly just large chives) and still be more than satisfied. After finishing the meat and veggies… the fried rice finale is a must! We asked for extra rice, and it was crisped to perfection in the same pot, absorbing all the savory flavors. The crispy bottom (nurungji) was so fragrant β€” we almost scraped the pot clean! πŸ’° Price: Just around $20+ per person (before tip) β€” incredibly reasonable for such a satisfying meal! Definitely a spot we’ll return to again and again. Perfect for cold days, big groups, and anyone craving authentic Korean comfort food. #KoreanFood #RowlandHeightsEats #LAEats #GamJaChon #ComfortFood #PorkNeckStew #FriedRice #LAFoodie #GroupDining #BudgetFriendly #WarmAndCozy #MustTryLA
