Gastown’s Delicious and Beautiful Italian Cuisine

💖 I’m back, and I’ve lost a bit of enthusiasm for exploring new places. The occupational hazard is emptying my pockets and gaining weight, so now I’m more laid-back about it. Met up with a friend and happened to come here last weekend. It was a bit of a bummer, so I had a Italian meal to cheer myself up 🥹 🩵 Their cafe and restaurant are connected, so I went in and ordered an Americano first. The cafe is actually prettier, and the vibe inside is very chill. People were sitting around using their laptops, etc. Then, when my friend arrived, we went next door to order our food. I didn’t make a reservation, and it wasn’t too crowded on a Saturday lunchtime, so it was first-come, first-served. We ordered a pizza and a lasagna, and we both thought they were great. The staff even offered us chili oil and chili flakes 😂, which made the food even better and helped cut through the richness. I think their meat sauce in the lasagna is really delicious 😭 Highly recommended! The pizza we chose had mushrooms, and their crust is not the thin and crispy kind, but a bit flaky and soft, which is the style I like 🥹 🥗 I thought I’d have some greens with my meal 😂, but this salad was so green, I felt like I was being super healthy, lol. Overall, I still highly recommend this place.
