Gathering Place 🌳✨

Last year, when my partner suggested a trip to Tulsa, I was a bit hesitant. After some research, it didn’t seem like there was much to do. But then I noticed Gathering Place mentioned on Tulsa’s official tourism website. Curious, I looked it up and found out it was recommended by Lonely Planet as one of the best city parks in the U.S. How impressive—and surprisingly underrated! When we finally visited, I was completely amazed. My partner was literally stunned—the park is so huge it’s almost overwhelming! It’s an unbelievably massive playground. Living in Tulsa with kids must be such a privilege—the ultimate spot for family fun. 🧒👧💚 We returned again this year and spent two full days exploring—and still didn’t run out of things to do! Besides age-appropriate play structures, the park features: Multiple sand and water play areas 💦🏖️ Indoor rest zones 🏠 A science center (free with ASTC membership!) 🔬🎟️ Water sports activities 🚣‍♂️ Hiking trails 🌲🥾 Sports courts and fields ⚽🏀 The park is lush, beautifully maintained, and full of life. If I had to pick one downside—it’s easy to lose your kids here!
